George Bull is a photographer based in Reading, UK.

His work follows a mixture of portraiture and documentary practices, combining the two to create images that explore people, the places they inhabit and their relationship with the world.

He studied Photography at Plymouth University graduating in 2011. In 2013 George assisted Martin Parr on ‘Open for Business’ a document of contemporary British manufacturing commissioned by Mutlistory and Magnum Photos.

As well as working on personal projects he teaches Photography in Oxfordshire.

George is currently studying an MA in Photography with Falmouth University. As part of this he is exploring the town of Reading through photographs looking at the different communities, people and places that make up the town.
